What is Building Our Tech?

Building Our Tech (BOT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Orlando, Florida. It accelerates economic mobility by empowering individuals with practical tech training, entrepreneurial resources, and career development support — creating clear, sustainable pathways to success in an evolving digital economy.

What programs does Building Our Tech offer?

BOT offers three tracks. Tech Workforce Upskilling provides cohort-based training in Tech Sales, AWS Cloud Computing, and AI/ML. Entrepreneur & Startup Education includes the Tech Startup Accelerator and the Bridge to Launchpad Incubator. Career Readiness delivers workshops that help adults explore tech pathways and build foundational skills.

Who can join BOT programs?

Programs are open to adults exploring or advancing a career in technology, as well as founders and small business owners building technology-enabled ventures. No prior tech background is required for career readiness and introductory workshops.

How much do BOT programs cost?

BOT is a donor and grant funded nonprofit. Monthly community workshops and events are free to attend. Cohort-based programs vary — email info@buildingourtech.org for current cohort details and eligibility.

Where is Building Our Tech located?

BOT is located at 1001 N. Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32801. Appointments are required for office visits, and event locations are listed in individual event materials.
